Concurrent Presentations Set 4Interactive workshops for participants to develop their own individualized action plans to address student and educator trauma Regional Educational Laboratory Appalachia team These interactive workshops will give participants the opportunity to explore specific strategies included in the CCSSOC Action Agenda. Each of the four research and practice strategies provides specific and meaningful actions that researchers, practitioners, families, and other stakeholders can take to address community needs, accelerate support, and focus resources on combatting the consequences of trauma in school settings, ultimately improving student behavioral, social-emotional, and academic outcomes. Participants will discuss what they have learned during the summit that will help them leverage strengths and address barriers to meet high priority needs, how to address issues of equity in service delivery and outcomes, and what specific concrete action steps they can take to move trauma-informed approaches forward to improve practices and policies. Participants will choose to focus on one of the following strategies:
Strategy 1: Implement and evaluate evidence-based practices and programs.
Strategy 2: Create well-coordinated and data-informed systems of supports.
Strategy 3: Build the capacity of school staff.
